About This Scholarship

The purpose of the Richard Avila Scholarship is to help current active members of USA Water Ski pursue their educational goals. Applicants must be student athletes who preferably competes in National Water Ski Racing Association (NWSRA) events or athletes who demonstrate strong athletic abilities, strong academic standings and are involved in good community service projects in the Western region of USA-WSWS. Students must be U.S. citizens and be incoming freshmen, sophomores, juniors or seniors at a two-year or four-year accredited college and enrolled full-time. Applicants must be members of USA Water Ski and Wake Sports.
