The Richard E. Cooper Scholarship is a $5,000+ award for full-time students in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. Preference given for underprivileged, low income or physically handicapped students with appropriate scholastic ability to enter Northern Arizona University, with an emphasis on physically handicapped student.This Fund shall be used to provide a scholarship for a student who meets the following criteria. a) Must be a full-time student enrolled at Northern Arizona University. b)Demonstrate Financial need c) Submits a one-page letter from his/her current physician describing the applicant, their attitude toward their medical condition, and the specifics of that condition, along with any other information the physician deems relevant.The letter is also to be signed, dated and submitted to the Scholarships Office. Award preference shall be to students who are physically disabled.
