The purpose of the Sallie Mae Bridging the Dream Scholarship is to assist students who belong to a diverse community. Applicants must be currently enrolled as high school seniors and plan to attend college full-time at a two-year institution, four-year institution or vocational/technical certification program. Students must have a 2.75 minimum GPA, be U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents and be Pell Grant eligible. Students must be diverse candidates. Diverse includes but is not limited to gender, disability, race, ethnicity or belonging to an underserved community.
