The TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholars Mentorship Program Scholarship is a $250+, merit-based, and renewable award for full-time and African American students in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more. The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and the Walmart Foundation are proud to offer mentor positions to outstanding students attending TMCF’s 47 publicly-supported Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) or a Predominantly Black Institutions (PBIs). Selected students will provide mentorship and guidance and facilitate student engagement with the Walmart Foundation first-generation scholars as they adjust to the academic and social environment on campus. The mentorship will pay a stipend of $500 ($250 at the end of each of the fall and spring semesters).
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) and the Walmart Foundation is providing the TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholars Mentorship Program Scholarship to full-time and African American students this year.
The TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholars Mentorship Program Scholarship is a merit-based award given to students with demonstrated academic, athletic, or extracurricular achievement.
Full-time and African American students who live or attend school in Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, and more are eligible to apply for the TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholars Mentorship Program Scholarship.
The TMCF | Walmart Foundation First-Generation Scholars Mentorship Program Scholarship offers students a $250 award, and winners can renew the award each semester.
